The situation in South Africa continues to worry thousands of African immigrants. The Nigerian government has approved five evacuation flights to remove Nigerian citizens who wish to leave the country amid the climate of insecurity. According to recent information, approximately 270 people are expected to board the first flight, while other flights remain prepared to transport hundreds of citizens. At the same time, reports indicate that many foreigners are abandoning their homes, seeking shelter in makeshift camps, community centers, and even rural areas for fear of further attacks. Tension remains high in several regions, while African governments closely monitor the situation of their citizens.
