The Golden Trumpet of Harry James 1968 Complete album
My favorite Harry James album of all time! Recorded on Spring 1968, this album featured the crisp, clear sound of a middle-aged Harry James. Harry was suffering severe dental problems during the recording of this album. However, you would never know it by his playing! Band personnel were Tony Scodwell, Bob Carter, Al Jeager, Bill King Trumpets Ray Sims, Jimmy Hunyzinger, Graham Ellis Trombones Joe Riggs, Everett Levey, Corky Corcoran, Rod Adams Jack O'Keefe Saxophones Jack Perciful Piano, Don Baldwin Bass, Sonny Payne Drums.
