Gear Shift Linkage

In this episode we look at how the gear shift linkage for my car was built. It uses a design typical for Formula Vee, with a number of rods connected end to end to form a linkage that connects the gear selector at the back of the car to the gear lever beside the driver. How to Build a Racing Car follows the design and construction of the FVT05, a car built for the Australian Formula Vee racing series.
