Super Bee Wagon | Willys Pickup | GMC COE Wrecker | VW Truck "The Toad" | 38th Pumpkin Run Nationals
On this episode of My Classic Car Dennis heads to Owensville, OH for the 38th Pumpkin Run Nationals, and we check out a '69 Super Bee Wagon, a radical Gen II Camaro, a '58 Willys Pickup, a GMC Wrecker with a midget racer on the back, and what was ONCE a '64 VW Single Cab Truck. Being a midwest hub, this long running Ohio show is huge and draws a myriad of cars from all over. A new one for Dennis, because they didn't actually make 'em, the Super Bee Wagon is the meanest looking grocery-getter around. This once Coronet Wagon, draped in the classic Sublime Green, has that Mopar power you'd expect with a functional ram air, 360 4 barrel. Looking factory, if they would have made one, this is how they would have done it. The '71 Camaro is a pro-street annihilator is lowered to the ground, tubbed near completely across the car to fit some huge meats, and looks like it could cut the air like a rain drop. Cleaned lines, cleaned interior, it's hiding a 350, built for reliability and speed. Built for power is this cutom '58 Willys Pickup, sitting up high, with a Cortez Silver color hiding it's mudding and working past. Brought back to new life, this baby, with a hopped up 355 old-school high rise, still looks like it could still plow through the dirt. Pretty, but still really tough. The GMC wrecker looks (purposely so) like it crawled out of the junk yard to continue work. "Rustic" one might say, interior and out. The fabbed bed, sitting on a '97 motor home chassis, holds something a little more crisp, but still looks like it fits, a vintage Midget Racer with a 37 Ford driveline. Finally, we check out perhaps the most unique ride you're gonna see at most shows. This '64 Single Cab has been shortened to a cartoon amount, adorned with a Sinclair livery, and big beefy tires slapped on to make it even more outlandish. But under it all it's quite stock, with the same drivetrain, rear end, and cool drop side bed gates that turns it into a flatbed. "The Toad". What an appropriate way to end the 38th Pumpkin Run Nationals. 0:00 - Intro 2:16 - 1969 "Super Bee" Wagon 5:01 - 1971 Gen 2 Camaro 7:51 - 1958 Willys Pickup 10:25 - 1937 GMC COE Wrecker & MIdget Racer 12:54 - 1964 Single Cab VW Truck "The Toad" #SuperBee #Willys #COE #Gen2 #Camaro #58Willys #WillysPickup #GMCWrecker #Midget #VW #SingleCab #TheToad #VWTruck #PumpkinRun S18E23
