The once-a-year meeting at Laytown beach is an iconic one in the Irish racing calendar - and indeed more widely as one of the very few race meetings held on a beach in world horse racing - and we bring you some of the sights and sounds from the 2025 fixture. The weighing room, running rail and all facilities required for a raceday are assembled on the day and dismantled shortly after racing before the tide comes in, a unique logistical feat in horse racing that helps present one of the most memorable spectacles that this sport has to offer.
