I first played Wild Arms 4 during my grade 12 year, renting it over and over again from a local video store… until the day it shut down and the owner just gave it to me. It’s one of those experiences that stuck with me, even when I couldn’t fully explain why. Looking back now, I think I finally understand what made Wild Arms 4 so memorable—and why it might be worth revisiting today, especially now that it’s more accessible than ever.
