In Bahçelievler, district officials conducted inspections of businesses that have reopened in accordance with the gradual return to normalcy regulations. During the inspections, Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır observed excessive tables and chairs, intervening and ordering the removal of these tables and chairs. Following the controlled return to normalcy measures implemented nationwide, joint inspections are being conducted by teams in many parts of Istanbul to businesses that have reopened. These inspections are issuing warnings to businesses with more than 50% customers and tables occupied. During the inspections, which were conducted with the participation of district officials in Bahçelievler, it was discovered that some businesses had extra tables. Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır, who participated in the inspection, intervened. He warned shopkeepers to comply with the rules and instructed the teams and business owners to remove the extra tables.
