In recent days an ugly fact has appeared in the newspapers, a woman was the victim of a criminal in the underpass not far from the Ministry of Transport and despite asking for help no one came to help her for more than an hour. This has rekindled the problem of abandoned underpasses which, in addition to being dangerous for those who live there and those who pass through them, are dangerous for the community since many of these passages are real emergency exits that should save the lives of motorists in the event of fires or accidents in the underground section where tens of thousands of cars pass every day. We also spoke with some occupants of the underpasses who live in desperate conditions between smog, dirt and danger. In those places crimes are committed a few meters from the institutions and the homes and offices of rich Roman entrepreneurs and yet everyone pretends not to see.
