Biking China's Route 66 (G219)

Join cousins Luke and Alex as they kick off an epic two-part cycling adventure along the southernmost stretch of China’s longest national highway – G219! Starting right at the China-Vietnam border in Dongxing, we pedal inland through the stunning karst landscapes of Guangxi. In this first episode, we explore the vibrant border town of Dongxing (including the historic boundary markers and coastal vibes), then hit the road on well-paved sections of G219. Expect beautiful tropical scenery, dramatic limestone peaks, friendly local encounters, and plenty of laughs between cousins on the bike. We ride, sightsee, and eventually set up camp with our tent right along the roadside for a proper adventure. This is just the beginning – the full Guangxi section of G219 is around 700km of border-hugging beauty, and we’re taking it one pedal at a time!
