How One Indie Horror Game Changed the Genre
I finally decided to make time and play Puppet Combo's The Night Shift. I have to say it is one of the bets horror games I have played (I am a few years late) and I think it helped inspired numerous other tittles that have attempted to do something similar. such as Low-Poly visuals, the setting being a day job, the slow burn with a big bang ending. I couldn't find a name for that genre, so I called it "Mundane Shift Horror". Hope you enjoy going deep down into the Night Shift and the legacy and mythos it left after. I also had a crazy cold, but I had to record the video otherwise I wouldn't post for another week. it's been hectic with the job and life so I had to squeeze a recording session. chapters: 00:00 Intro 01:35 Anatomy of a Scare 04:19 Gameplay 14:29 Analysis 18:10 Legacy 25:45 Ending Thanks for watching!!
