In Pakistan, we are still lacking proper mechanizing and we have feeding systems based on Dairy Production Systems. There are 1. grazing systems – not good for dairy but we have 2. mixed farming system – Crop residues, agro industrial by products and weeds in cropland after harvest 3. peri-urban dairy colonies - wholly dependent on stall-feeding 4.
