DC Eco Park, Shivnagar, Damurhuda, Chuadanga. In 1895, Nadia State's landlord Shri Nafar Chandra Pal Chowdhury created a garden with talsari, mango and kathal trees in Shivnagar area. The garden was destroyed due to lack of conservation. In 2014, DC Eco Park was developed on that 128.23 acre area with the dedicated efforts of the Deputy Commissioner, Chuadanga and Upazila Administration, Damurhuda, especially Mr. Faridur Rahman, UNO Damurhuda. There are 5300 trees of 63 species here. 4500 trees have been newly planted. Out of these, 893 are mango trees. Him Sagar, Langra, Fazli, Surbabu, Ranibhog. There is a huge lake adjacent to the mango garden. All together it is a wonderful tourist center. Every day people come to see the lush mango forest and take boat trips in the lake. This ecopark has increased the attraction and respect of Chuadanga district. We invite the tourists of the country to enjoy the unsurpassed tranquility in this ecopark of Bangladesh.
