RimWorld Guide: How to Plan Efficient (and Pretty!) Bases | Detailed Tutorial & Mod Suggestions

The tutorial follows a series of steps that will allow your base to grow in a smart, efficient way: Step 1: Defenses (determines entire space) Step 2: Farm (crucial for the rest of the buildings to fall into place) Steps 3 and 4: Kitchen and Freezer (determined by where the farm is) Step 5: Dining room (determined by where the freezer is) Step 6: Bedrooms (determined by where the dining room is) After bedrooms, fill in the rest of the spots with the following buildings: Rec room, Hospital, Stockpile, Crafting room, Research lab, and Prison.
