In this video, join me on a walk around the upper town of Minden, a beautiful historic city in Germany and definitely one of the most charming towns in Europe. We'll see the Minden Cathedral, the Old Town Hall, the Market Square, and many other interesting sights. We'll roam around the historic and magnificent half-timbered houses in the upper town, including the Minden Museum, St. Martini Church, Old Town Hall, and Market Square. Come along with me on this journey through time! The upper town of Minden is the oldest part of the city, and it's full of charming narrow streets and alleyways. The Minden Cathedral is one of the most important Romanesque churches in Germany. It was built in the 11th and 12th centuries, and it's home to several important works of art. The Old Town Hall is another important landmark in the upper town. It was built in the 13th century, and it's now a museum. The Market Square is the heart of the upper town. It's a great place to people-watch and enjoy a meal or drink at one of the many outdoor cafes. We also pass through Windloch, one of the most popular historic landmarks and apparently, the building's photo is used many times as an example photo online to show a typical half-timbered house of the medieval times!
