Meet #Team999: Simon, Community First Responder
Simon Doyle is a Community First Responder (CFR) for North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. CFRs are volunteers who respond to life-threatening emergencies in their local communities so that they can give help before the ambulance arrives. Simon is being profiled as part of the #Team999 campaign which profiles the various different roles in the emergency ambulance service. The campaign highlights that calling 999 doesn't always mean an ambulance response or a trip to hospital - it's about getting the right care, at the right time, in the right place.
