After introducing the Skyactiv-X engine in 2019, a naturally aspirated engine with a complex ignition system, the Japanese firm has decided to take a technological step back and opt for a larger, simpler engine: the new 140-hp 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G. This engine replaces the 122-hp and 150-hp Skyactiv-X and is available in both the Mazda 3 and the CX-30. But... is it a good choice?
