Dentists must be prepared to respond to emergencies that are not part of their specialty. After all, the patient must always be viewed as a whole and not as a single segment that you specialize in. We were called to a loss of consciousness in the dental office, but by the time we got there, our fellow dentists certainly responded to the situation. And they did it really well.
