ベトナム戦争で兵士が戦場で食べていた食事とは?アメリカ軍とベトナム軍の戦場食を当時のレシピ通りに再現してみた

[Rekimeshi], or "Historical Recreation Meals," recreates historical food cultures in the modern age. Today, we've recreated battlefield rations from the American and Vietnamese armies during the Vietnam War. The American army, supported by its formidable industrial power and abundant supply network, and the North Vietnamese army, which waged elusive guerrilla warfare with limited resources. In the extreme conditions of the battlefield, the meals that sustained the lives of soldiers on both sides strongly reflected the circumstances of each country. A powerful war of attrition versus self-sufficient survival food based on Eastern wisdom. Why not take a look at the contrasting flavors that soldiers once ate in the harsh jungles? To reproduce the texture of pasta sterilized at high temperature and pressure, the cooking time was intentionally doubled to twice the prescribed time. The extreme dehydration and caramelization process used in North Vietnamese guerrilla warfare rations was faithfully reproduced. Hygiene standards were adjusted to modern standards.
