Azure Elastic Database Jobs -Elastic Job Agents

One of the features missing from Azure SQL database is the SQL Agent. We can’t schedule jobs within SQL Azure In 2016 Microsoft added a scheduler to Azure SQL database called Elastic Database Jobs. I produced a video on Elastic Jobs for my YouTube channel back in March 2018 but in September 2018 that version of Elastic database Jobs was removed and replaced with a completely new version, still called Elastic Database Jobs in the documentation but in the Portal called Elastic Job Agent. In this demo I will show how to create the Elastic Job Agent from the portal and then use T-SQL to create, run and schedule jobs.
