We continue from where we stopped in the last class where we talked about Daghesh forte and Daghesh lene. This time, I want us to go deeper into some of the principles and the background that will help us in transliteration and translation of the Hebrew language. Because of the length of this lecture, I have divided the class in to two parts, click here for part 2. Part 1 talks about; Methegh, Maqqeph, open and closed syllables.
