FIJI (ImageJ): Hysteresis Thresholding
Learn how to use FIJI (ImageJ) to do hysteresis thresholding on 2d and 3d images (z stacks) using the segmentation tool from the 3D Image Suite. The thresholding algorithm involves 3 levels of segmentation based on a high threshold and a low threshold. Subsequent processing and analysis steps can be done with the Analyze Particles tool or the MorphoLibJ library for labeled or binary images. ROIs can be viewed on the ROI Manager or the 3D Manager.
