Super Mario Bros. (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Nintendo's 1993 platformer for the Super Nintendo, Super Mario Bros. (as it appears in Super Mario All-Stars). In this video I play through both loops of the game. As in my playthroughs of the other versions, I do the first run going through every single level. The second (beginning at 41:13) shows the shortest route through the game using warp zones. The All-Stars cart was great when it came out. Not only did it bring the original Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 stateside for the first time, but it also brought us complete 16-bit remakes of all four NES games on a single cartridge. (If only they still invested this level of effort! *Glares at the lame ass Skyward Sword HD remaster and Super Mario 3D All-Stars*) They looked and sounded great, and they felt pretty similar to the 8-bit originals. The controls and the physics aren't exactly the same, but they're close enough that you won't even notice after a level or two. (And the Bowser fight music in this version is sick!)
