The skate park problem in Vietnam

Skateboarding in Vietnam: Why the Country Needs Better Skateparks I’ve spent the last month solo traveling through Vietnam with my skateboard—hitting up cities like Hanoi, Da Nang, and Saigon, and connecting with skaters wherever I could. What I quickly realized is that while Vietnam has an incredible skate community and some amazing street spots, there’s a serious lack of proper skateparks across the country. In this video, I break down the current state of skateboarding infrastructure in each major city: What happened to Hanoi’s indoor skatepark? Why Da Nang still doesn’t have a proper park And whether the parks in Saigon are actually worth skating From DIY setups to unskate-able bowls, this video documents both the passion and the problems skaters are facing here. Despite the challenges, the local scene is still thriving—and I truly believe there’s hope for the future if more attention (and funding) is put into it. ✌️ Drop a comment with your thoughts—especially if you’ve skated in Vietnam before or know how things are changing.
