At one point during this expedition, Khashchi could not hold back their tears. After all, we found a man who had lived alone for 25 years in a village that the communists had once resettled in Bessarabia. His mother's house stands in the thicket of desolation, but not oblivion, as long as he is alive. So does the cross his grandfather erected on the mountain where 800 soldiers are buried. Today, the village's population has grown to 4 people. But did it happen because of happiness and goodness, or perhaps because of the hardships of war? Is it interesting? There will be more to come, because this was one of the most incredible expeditions of our project since its inception. We spent the night in an abandoned and looted 18th-century church, went down into a World War II bunker, forced one of the largest rivers in Ukraine, got stuck in an SUV in the fields, and had to look for a tractor to continue the expedition. We found a descendant of Ustym Karmalyuk, a legendary fighter against the rich who gave his loot to the poor, and people who were among the first to raise the blue and yellow flag in Vinnytsia region. This is an incomplete list of adventures, stories, immersion, and cognition of the real Ukraine, the real Podillia. This film is about our expedition along the Southern Bug River on the border of Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia regions. After watching it, you will definitely want to visit this region in the future.
