Bei uns piept's. Die Instrumente spielen verrückt

Our last night's cruise for the time being is supposed to take us from Mexico to Belize. Once we arrive there, we can sail on to Guatemala in day-long stages. But first, the weather thwarts our plans, then the onboard beeps incessantly. The navigation instruments are blasting out alarms every minute – it's pretty annoying, especially at night. Our journey is also extended from the planned 110 to over 170 nautical miles. There are high waves off Belize, and the narrow passages through the Barrier Reef are too dangerous. So we have to move on.
