Sony TUNE-UP A.V. (Full LaserDisc at 60fps)
Howdy, what's 12 inches wide and spins really fast? If you said "vinyl record" or "CED", you are wrong, because I am referring to a LaserDisc. This is one of those weird display tune-up LaserDiscs that were really common in Japan for whatever reason. This one in particular is from 1988 and is mastered for a Dolby Surround (Pro Logic) output. Usually, I'd record most of my VHS and LaserDisc videos in a 41:30 aspect ratio or right about there. In this specific case, I opted to record it at a flat 3:2 aspect ratio because some of the monitor test portions of the video confused me a little bit. Otherwise, enjoy this video that is certainly not useful for calibrating your monitor, analog or digital, 34 years afterwards, recorded by an incompetent person with a capture card in the Southern United States.
