Trains at: Ely, Fen Line, 13/07/24

A very enjoyable time spent at Ely on the Fen Line where we see plenty of services from East Midlands Railway, Cross Country, Great Northern, Thameslink, Greater Anglia and freight from Freightliner and GBRF. the geography of the terrain that the line is built on. The station was always busy because from its outset its always been used as a junction station linking Cambridge, Peterborough and the surrounding areas to London. There isn't to much to tell about this station other than during the 1990's British Rail modified the station quite substantially in order for electrification to take place, although not every line coming out of Ely is electrified today.
