Train at HUGE Railroad Crossing

Train at HUGE Railroad Crossing ... One of the biggest crossings I've seen. You might think it is a malfunction but it isn't. This Brightline train pulled into the station, stopped, and the gates went up. A few moments after, they came down as the train pulled out of the station. It shares the track with FEC freight trains to the dismay of many FEC engineers as they have to wait for Brightline since they are given priority. This crossing is the Broward Boulevard crossing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to which I will include a Google Maps link below.
