REAL Steering Wheels vs RC Monster Trucks - Ultimate Hill Climb | RC ADVENTURES

What happens when you replace a traditional RC radio with TWO real steering wheels and pedals? What started as a crazy experiment with two real steering wheels quickly turned into one of the most exciting afternoons we've had at RC Topia. Dirt exploded into the air, the trucks clawed for every inch of traction, and Maurice and I battled it out until the very last run. When I look back on this day, I don't think about the cameras, the editing, or even the steering wheels. I think about every hill we've sculpted by hand, every trail we've carved through the woods, every slow-motion shot, and even sacrificing a $2,500 Sony camera lens to get that one unforgettable angle. Sharing moments like these with family, and with millions of people around the world, makes every hour of work worthwhile. You simply can't put a price on memories like these. These MEV (Mobility Electric Vehicle) transmitter steering wheel controllers have been sitting in my studio for almost a year. Developed by Innoec Technology, in collaboration with Turbo Racing, the MEV-19006-D Telemetric Reality Steering Wheel Control System was created as an educational driving platform that helps bridge the gap between RC driving, FPV, racing simulators, and real-world vehicle control. Each steering wheel and pedal set is a fully featured 7-channel radio transmitter that includes its own matching 7-channel receiver. The system can operate in Mode 1 using the steering wheel and pedals or Mode 2 with compatible Turbo Racing vehicles. Originally designed for much smaller RC vehicles, I couldn't resist seeing how they'd handle RC monster trucks! Maurice (Morris), Jem, and I headed straight for one of the toughest hill climbs at RC Topia to put them to the ultimate test. If these steering wheels could survive this challenge, they'd survive just about anything! At the end of the day, this is what RC ADVENTURES is all about—getting outside, spending time with family, trying something completely different, and making memories together. Whether we make it to the top or not, the adventure is always worth it. A huge thank you to Ryan Lai, Innoec Technology, and Turbo Racing for creating such an innovative control system and sending these my way. I've been waiting nearly a year for the right project, and I can't think of a better way to put them to the test. I've had a feeling people would ask about the steering wheel controllers after watching this video, so here's the information. They're the MEV-19006-D Telemetric Reality Steering Wheel Control System from Innoec Technology.
