Mrs. Oh wants to pass on the haenyeo profession to her daughter-in-law, but Nguyen Thi Nhi, wanting to earn a lot of money, prefers to work at the jajangmyeon restaurant and keeps delaying her answer. Unable to bear it any longer, Mrs. Oh sets off for Vietnam to verify her daughter-in-law's diving skills. Will Mrs. Oh be able to get an answer from her daughter-in-law through this trip? Jeju Island, a place full of rocks and strong winds. Today's protagonists are Mrs. Oh Mae-chun (73), who has worked as a haenyeo in the waters here for over 40 years, and her Vietnamese daughter-in-law, Nguyen Thi Nhi (31), who prefers working at a jajangmyeon restaurant to diving. Mrs. Oh followed in her mother-in-law's footsteps and began diving, spending her entire life diving. Despite the hard work, she raised three children and continues to deliver conch and sea urchins to the Jajangmyeon restaurant run by her son. However, at the age of 73, Mrs. Oh found diving too difficult and asked her daughter-in-law to become a haenyeo (female diver). Her daughter-in-law, Nguyen Thi Nhi, is busy working without a single day off because the Jajangmyeon restaurant hasn't yet established itself. Mrs. Oh even made a gourd basket for her daughter-in-law and told her that diving was the best way to earn money, but she avoided the conversation, saying she would go diving later. There is one place Mrs. Oh visits every day while she is busy diving: the tangerine orchard. Although small in size, it is a precious place to Mrs. Oh as she acquired it with her hard-earned money. Her son and his wife have come to help with the work in the tangerine orchard. Nguyen Thi Nhi approached Mrs. Oh, who was busy picking tangerines because she had missed the harvest season while diving, and abruptly suggested selling the orchard. It was a joke, suggesting that if they sold the tangerine orchard, her mother-in-law could rest comfortably, but it is baffling that Mrs. Oh is only getting angry. The daughter-in-law's family home is a stilt house in Ca Mau, Vietnam, which requires a 12-hour car ride from Ho Chi Minh City followed by a 30-minute boat ride.
