Bisikletle Türkiye Turu: “Gaziantep Yolunda Çocuklarla Muhabbet Ettik” •221

Hello friends, As I was leaving Halfeti and pedaling towards Gaziantep, I was cornered by a vehicle on the road near the Şanlıurfa border. The vehicle swerved in front of me and stopped abruptly. The driver initially said, "I have 7 tons of cargo in my car, it won't stop," but then I realized he was perfectly capable of stopping. He then got out of the vehicle and aggressively approached me, making threats. During the incident, bystanders told him he was wrong, which made him even more nervous. The driver called me to Birecik; I went, but he wasn't there. I went to the police station, but I was directed to the gendarmerie because he was told his jurisdiction was different. I didn't want the process to be tedious and time-consuming, and I didn't want it to disrupt my trip, so I withdrew my complaint. Nevertheless, I decided to share this experience because others who encounter such behavior should be aware of it; I want this incident to be known to those around me and for them to understand their mistake. My purpose in publishing the video: To document those moments, To show that those who have experienced similar events are not alone, Note: The video does not target individuals, contain insults, or call for violence—I simply shared what happened. If you witnessed the incident or believe you can provide additional information, please leave a constructive comment. I wish everyone safe travels.
