Oud Technique: How to play the "turn" ornament on Arabic oud

Here I demonstrate how to play the "turn" ornament on Arabic oud, picking 3 different ways. Some practice tips to improve your technique including several easier versions are also presented. Ornamentation is very important in oud playing, and this is one of the most essential ornaments. There are many more versions of the turn, as well as half turns, but this is one of the most important and common versions. This version applies to any turn that has all three notes on the same string, such as E half-flat (aka Sikah, as I play it here).
