Pedals, Fuel, and Heat Shielding | 1972 Ford Courier Miata Build

In this episode, we continue the transformation of our 1972 Ford Courier as it inches closer to life on Mazda MX-5 Miata subframes and drivetrain. This build is all about blending classic mini-truck style with modern performance, and today we make some major progress. We dive into the fuel system installation, running high-quality ‪@RadiumEngineering‬ hoses and components to ensure reliability for hard driving. From there, we fabricate a custom firewall heat shield using ‪@DesignEngineering‬ DEI materials, keeping heat where it belongs and protecting the cabin. We also tackle final pedal adjustments, dialing in ergonomics and control as this truck begins to feel more like a purpose-built race car. This Courier is slowly but surely coming together. There is still plenty left on the checklist, but every small step gets us closer. We are simply chipping away at what will soon be a future autocross and drifting machine, built with function, creativity, and a lot of hands-on fabrication.
