Real Swinger 340. 1 owner til 1985, 2nd owner til 2020. You've already noticed it's hot looking! EXTERIOR: Original metal. The car is straight, no damage, no rust bubbles or cracking. It all fits and lines up real nice, doors shut like new. It has the dual bulges on the hood with the 340 call out and racing pins. It's a factory born bright red car. The paint is just that, it's bright red with a very smooth glossy finish. The white bumblebee Swinger stripe around the tail end pops! Windshield's crystal clear. The stainless was polished. The chrome looks great on the mirrors, bumpers, handles, taillights etc. Sitting on some really sharp looking 18 inch Billet Specialties wheels, wider in the back and wrapped in performance sneakers. INTERIOR: Really nice and detailed inside. The carpet and embroidered mats look fresh. New set of correct seatbelts. The upholstery is in excellent condition. There is a nice aftermarket cushioned armrest with cup holders. The dash area is mint. The knobs and bezels are sparkling, clear lenses, excellent dash pad etc. It has an aftermarket oil pressure gauge that was reading 70 pounds at an idle and a custom tachometer. The Billet Specialties steering wheel actually matches the wheels on the car. The factory Am-Fm was rebuilt with modern internals including Bluetooth. Matched set of door panel speakers and 6x9s in back. It also has a vintage, working 8-track player under the dash. The headliner is tight as a drum. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It actually has the Vin number matching, high performance 340 motor! On top it has powder coated aluminum intake with a dual feed Holley carb with premium fuel lines and fittings. It also has a set of coated headers. Dressed up with matched set of Edelbrock valve covers, breathers and air cleaner. The distributor and wires look new. The front of the motor has the billet polished brackets and pulleys with a serpentine belt. It also includes a polished mini a/c compressor (not hooked up), polished alternator and modern power steering with a remote reservoir and stainless braided hoses. Wilwood master cylinder. The battery is bolted down properly, it has hood insulation, working horns, upgraded electric fan etc. The whole engine bay is clean metal painted beautiful red. The fender tag is attached, the vin on the core support matches the car. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid metal painted gloss red. The original mat is split. It has original jack. UNDERSIDE: The steering and suspension was rebuilt. It has QA1 gas shocks at all 4 corners. Welded in Hotchkis frame connectors keeps it from twisting. In back it's upgraded with tubular CalTrac traction bars and a swaybar. Custom exhaust has been powder coated, has crossover pipe, polished stainless Borla mufflers and chrome square tips. Fuel tank, straps and sending unit were replaced. The brake system has been upgraded with Wildwood drilled and slotted discs at all 4 wheels. New lines, hoses, and e-brake assembly. Looking up at the motor it's spotless, new starter. The numbers matching 4-speed trans was recently serviced, $1800. 3.55 sure grip gears in the rear end. Floors are rock solid, clean metal. This checks the boxes. Extra sharp looking, it has the perfect muscle car sound, the quality is high, fun to drive. On top of all that it's a #s matching highly desirable car. It's an investment.
