Single umbilical artery (SUA) in the fetus. How is it seen on ultrasound, is it risky for the baby?
Hi; I am Dr. Kağan Kocatepe, an OBGYN doctor from Istanbul. In this video I am discussing a common fetal ultrasound finding called single umbilical artery, which is an umbilical cord with 1 artery and 1 vein, instead of 2 arteries and 1 vein. The chromosomal anomaly risk is only slightly increased. Sometimes the fetal weight gain may be slightly less then normal. --------- In this new video channel I will be talking about all aspects of pregnancy, labor and delivery and of course of postpartum period and breastfeeding.
