Smoking and Lung Cancer: From Association to Causation
How can we figure out whether an association is due to causation? To answer that question, this documentary explores the discovery that smoking causes lung cancer in the 1950s and 60s. Featuring Jonathan Fuller (Assistant Professor), Dasha Pruss (graduate student) and Marina DiMarco (graduate student) from the Dept of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh.
