Ranking 10 Of The Largest Sharks In The World From Smallest To Largest

Today sharks come in many different shapes and sizes, and each of the 500 plus species have certain adaptations and behaviors that help them to survive in competitive ecosystems. Some perfectly bend into their environment to catch their prey off guard, others have resorted to walking on land to get to prey hiding in rock pools, and others live a life similar to that of whales peacefully eating plankton. In today's video we'll be looking at many of the weird and wonderful shark species that the oceans has to offer, as we'll be ranking 10 of the largest sharks in the world. We'll be judging the sharks based on their maximum recorded weight instead of their length, as there are many sharks such as the thresher sharks that are very long but are relatively small compared to sharks of a similar length.
