But I don't look at pictures two days before the shooting because I don't want to be too conditioned by what I just saw." "I try to investigate as much as I can so I have a clear image on what we're aiming to do with the shoot. Although sometimes it gets its own life and then it's a different thing." "Usually, I think about some poses for the model. I have some ideas of how I'm going to place the model. If she is going to be seated or standing up or laying back at something." "I don't decide beforehand which ones will be landscape and vertical because it always turns out to be completely different from what I thought. I have an idea about what I am going to do but on the day of the shooting sometimes the model does something that I like or something goes in a sudden direction and then if we like it, we embrace that. Beforehand, we know that we need landscape images and vertical images but then it depends on the way things are going. The magazine doesn't tell you that they need close-up or full length." "When you see the clothes hanging, it's one thing, when you see it on the girl, it's different. It depends a lot on the feeling you have in the shoot. That's one of the things I like about shooting fashion. Sometimes things get a life and follow their own track and we just go along with it." "My advice to young photographers working in fashion is that they are only as good as the weakest link on their team. This is a teamwork, a team effort, and it's really important to have the entire team playing in the same tune and everybody focusing on the best final result."
