Four Welsford boats and a Stornoway on Port Phillip

We managed to get four John Welsford designed boats out on the same stretch of Port Phillip at the same time, which may well be a record, and definitely worth a video. Chris and Gerard came along in Ysolde the magnificent Stornoway 18. After a grey start and some very light winds, we got from Werribee South to just off the mouth of Little River, where we rafted up for lunch and to compare notes. After lunch, the wind was light to start with, then filled in nicely for a great reach along the coast then a nice run back into the river. I topped off a memorably fine day on the water by getting into the jetty under sail, with a camera running very satisfying when it works. Many thanks to Gerard Van Drempt for your video, and to the Melbourne Welsford sailors - Justin, Gavan, Warren and Stephen. And thanks to Oz my faithful crew.
