Rt. Rev. Ntagali elected new Archbishop

http://www.ntvuganda.co.ug/ Stanley Ntangali the Bishop of Masindi Kitara is the new Archbishop for the Church of Uganda. Ntangali who was elected with more than two thirds majority will succeed archbishop Henry Luke Orombi. The election by 35 Bishops that lasted for nearly 6 hours was done by use of secret ballot at Saint Paul Cathedral in Namirembe, the Headquarters of the Church province of Uganda. Bishop Stanley Ntangali who now becomes the 8th Archbishop for the Church of Uganda says he will ensure that he wins many hearts of non believers and also play an advisory role to government in the line of good governance.
