Temperatures will be generally between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius due to the subsidence of the typhoon's outer bands. Temperatures will be even higher in the Greater Taipei Basin, near the mountains in central and southern Taiwan, and the East Rift Valley, with some areas reaching above 36 degrees Celsius.
