Dallas Wings responded to a road loss to the Minnesota Lynx with a home win Friday night against the Phoenix Mercury at College Park Center. The game was Pride Night in Arlington. Dallas guard Azzi Fudd recorded three blocks, including a block on Alyssa Thomas, and also had a steal against Thomas. Offensively, Fudd and Paige Bueckers combined for nine assists. Bueckers scored 31 points, including 24 in the first half on 11-of-14 shooting, despite a brief scare after a minor ankle tweak sent her to the bench momentarily. Fudd added 17 points as the Wings improved to 8-4. Jessica Shepard posted her seventh double-double of the season and the 26th of her WNBA career. For Phoenix, Lexi Held scored 17 points.
