The Benda Napoleon Bob 250 costs €5,250, includes a 5-year warranty, and is available in two colors: gray and the green of our test bike. This cruiser departs from the more common inline engines, opting instead for a 249cc liquid-cooled SOHC V-twin (with the right side simulating an OHV pushrod valve train) that produces 25.5 hp at 9,000 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It features a 6-speed gearbox, chain drive, ABS, and switchable traction control, and Benda claims a top speed of 120 km/h. The chassis is one of its most striking aspects: a steel frame without a subframe, a tubular aluminum swingarm, and a completely unconventional front end with a Girder-type fork and twin external shock absorbers, complemented by twin rear shock absorbers with linkages. It features 19-inch wheels, wide scrambler-style tires from CST (130/80 and 160/70), and a 4-piston radial front caliper.
