A large number of candidates belong to far-flung districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to rising inflation, unemployment, and financial hardships, many candidates are already facing severe economic difficulties. Traveling long distances to Peshawar requires substantial expenses on transportation, accommodation, and meals, which places an additional burden on deserving applicants. Furthermore, long and exhausting journeys cause not only financial hardship but also physical fatigue and mental stress. As a result, many candidates are unable to perform to the best of their abilities in the examination. Conducting the test at regional centers would enable candidates to appear in a more comfortable and stress-free environment and would help ensure a fair assessment of their abilities. It is also important to highlight an issue of fairness among candidates. Applicants residing in or near Peshawar can conveniently appear in the test with minimal travel time and expenses, while candidates from distant districts such as Chitral, Dir, Swat,Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Torghar, Mansehra, Battagram and other remote areas are compelled to travel hundreds of kilometers to reach Peshawar. This creates an unequal situation where one group of candidates enjoys easy access to the examination center, whereas others have to bear significant financial costs, physical fatigue, and mental stress. Such disparity places candidates from remote areas at a clear disadvantage and is contrary to the principle of equal opportunity. Therefore, I humbly request the Commission to conduct the SST test at the relevant regional centers so that all candidates may be provided with equal opportunities and a fair environment to compete on merit.
