The Max Road 4 features Skechers dynamic new Hyper Burst foam which brings the weight of this maximally cushioned 28mm heel /22mm forefoot midsole and outsole stack shoe down to a remarkable 8.4 oz / 238 g in a US men's 9. This is a shoe which gets more and more fun the faster you take it. All of us agreed it was a sublime ride but with caveats by some testers around forefoot midsole outsole irritations and warmth of the compression knit upper.
