Doomsday G Wagon Update | Body-Off Restoration

You may remember our “doomsday” G Wagon comparison between the G300 and the GD350. Today we pull the curtain on the next chapter. This GD350 is getting a true body off restoration with upgraded hardware and smart reliability mods. Plans include a restored frame and application of a high wear frame coating so it can handle real use, not just photo ops. Then we'll refresh the suspension with new bushings, springs, and FOX 2.0 shocks for better control on trail and pavement. But for today, tag along as we prepare for the early stages of this project. Under the hood, the OM603 diesel gets a proper wake up. Turbo upgrade, 3 inch downpipe, full exhaust, and an upgraded 6 mm pump for stronger fueling and clean power. The goal is simple: Keep the classic GD character. Add durability and usable torque. Build a G Wagon that feels planted, quiet, and ready for long miles.
