KARWA bus 102x & 102 around 2-3hrs (15 QAR total Bus Cost up & down). Bus will take u from Doha to Al-Khor Industrial area (ask driver to stop at Shaniya). From there hire a local taxi until Purple Island (it should cost you around 30 QAR) and *VERY IMP* ask driver to pick you up next morning because there is no taxi available at Purple Island and take his number so that u call him after you're ready to leave. If you don't want to camp & want a stay outdoor accommodation, then pre book your stay from these operators AquaSports KAYAKING & Discover Arabia Eco Adventures. They also provide Kayaking options which can be enjoyed throughout the year. Dogs are allowed as well. ZEKREET EYE ROCK 80km from Doha (Accessible by any car) Lot of parking space available. Take 104 Bus from Al Ghanim Bus station to Cuban Hospital, from there if you hike for 30min you'll reach near this eye rock formation & then you can decide where you want to camp. Keep in mind there's no taxi available here you've to wait for the bus, so plan in advance. Yes, camping is allowed. If you have off-roader you can even drive further deep into Zekreet. GHOST TOWN or AL JUMAIL 120km ride from Doha (Accessible by any car) Lot of parking space available. Take Bus from Al Ghanim Bus station until Al-Ruwais & from there hire a local taxi to drop you at Al Jumail (cost 20 QAR). *VERY IMP* ask driver to pick you up next morning because there is no taxi available at Al-Jumail and take his number so that u call him after you're ready to leave or you can ask lift as well. Yes, camping is allowed (camp next to a wall because this place is very windy). There are no staying options here! you're on your own. Al ZUBARA FORT 110km ride from Doha (Accessible by any car). Take 100 Bus(2hrs) from Doha or Al Ghanim Bus station until Al Zubara Fort. Lot of parking space available. Toilet facilities available. No taxi available at Al-Zubara, you've to wait for the bus (check timings before you go). Yes, camping is allowed near the beach are outside of Fort boundary line. This place is little windy. There are no staying options here! you're on your own. Al Zubara , Al Zumail & Fuweraith Beach are near by & can be visited in a day.
