Somewhere deep in the heart of Kinnaur, on the infamous Kinnaur Road — known as one of the most dangerous roads in the world — my bike's tyre suddenly busted in the dead of night. With no mobile signal, no help in sight, and sheer cliffs on one side and loose mountain rocks on the other, I was forced to sleep roadside. Things took a surprising turn when a stranger offered help — I ended up riding his bike in the pitch-dark mountain roads to fetch a mechanic.
