In this second lesson of the Low Altitude Flyer training series, we build on the aviation-style fundamentals introduced in Lesson 1 and focus on developing confidence, control, and precision at slow speed. From a pilot ground-school instructor’s perspective, this training breaks slow speed riding down into repeatable, structured exercises designed to help you understand balance, clutch control, and intentional direction changes — without relying on momentum. In this lesson we cover: ✅ “Trust & Believe” exercises — intentionally directing the motorcycle and catching it with clutch control ✅ Understanding how slow speed stability really works ✅ Developing feel for the friction zone and power delivery ✅ 90° turns from a stop — controlled starts, head/eye position, and precise steering inputs ✅ Building confidence through structured practice drills These techniques challenge the common idea that speed equals stability. Instead, we focus on control inputs that give you balance and authority over the motorcycle at walking pace and below. If you’re new to slow speed riding, returning to riding, or simply want more precise control, this lesson builds the foundation for everything that follows. Train like a pilot. Ride with precision. — Scott | Low Altitude Flyer 👉 Lesson 1:    • Master Slow Speed Motorcycle Control | Ste...   Lesson 3 Available Feb 19    • U-Turns and Serpentine Exercises: Slow Spe...   Introduction to the 2026 BMW F800GS    • 2026 BMW F800GS Review and Introdution to ...   Chapter 0:00 Introduction 03:00 Classroom Introduction 06:24 Classroom 5 Stages of Friction Zone 07:10 Classroom 5 (6) Things to do when entering Slow Speed 08:17 Exercise 3 Explained 10:34 Exercise 4 Explained 15:02 Exercise 3 24:42 Exercise 4
