Tiny On Tour E 30 Bowen

We continue South and pull into Bowen. It"s a great little town with several beaches, so if one was abit choppy, you just had to drive round to a beach on the other side! The famous Horseshoe Bay is a real hippie spot but we are in Queensland in the off season and the water was very stirred up with plenty of sediment so it was not like what you see in brochures. I believe the best months to visit would be June thru August. The caravan park was right on the ocean and the sound of the waves just lulled us to sleep in the evenings. In all a very relaxing stop.
